Busy Book Tribe was created with one simple belief: the early years matter. Each busy book has been thoughtfully designed for ages 18 months–3 years, 3–4 years, and 4–5 years and supports the skills children are naturally developing at each stage.

After completing her training in early childhood development and learning practices, Jess became deeply committed to creating resources that reflect how children truly learn, through hands on exploration, repetition, independence, and purposeful play.

Jess has completed formal training in Montessori early childhood foundations, specialising in practical life, early numeracy, and child-led learning for ages 18 months to 5 years. Her resources are thoughtfully designed to align with Montessori principles while remaining accessible and engaging for modern families. Each activity gently supports fine motor skills, concentration, early literacy and numeracy development, problem-solving, and school readiness in a calm, intentional way.

Busy Book Tribe began in Jess’s own home, inspired by the everyday rhythm of family life and a desire for meaningful, screen free learning. What started as simple activities created for her own children evolved into a three stage busy book series designed to support children from 18 months through to 5 years.

Every page reflects a balance between developmental intention and real life usability, designed not just to look beautiful, but to strengthen foundational skills during the most important years of growth.
